Tenant News! PEST CONTROL SCHEDULE The following pest control spraying schedule is in effect for the 2011-2012 year: Please be advised that maintenance will be conducting the pest control spraying between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm for the following days at the listed properties:
$$$Money Saving Tip of the Month!$$$ -If the first falls on a holiday, then the rent is due on the last workday prior to the first.-A $25.00 late fee is charged on the 4th and $5.00 per day fee is charged for each additional dayuntil rent is paid in full.
Winter is upon us and the outside temperature is quickly dropping. To avoid problems later in the season when it gets much colder, we recommend that you run your heater for at least an hour to ensure that your furnace is working properly. If your smoke detectors go off do not be alarmed, please open a window in the back and the front door to get air flow through the apartment/duplex. The reason the smoke detectors go off is because of the dust on the heat exchange. It also may be a good time to check and change your furnace filter. We recommend you check them monthly. If you encounter problems, please call the office immediately, so we can get any problems fixed before it gets really cold outside. Please try to do this during the beginning or middle of the week, so we can try to avoid calling outside repairmen on the weekends, when it is more difficult to get a hold of someone.
During the winter months, we recommend that you SET YOUR THERMOSTAT AROUND 65 DEGREES or higher to avoid the water pipes from freezing and breaking. Also, for residents in townhomes or duplexes, please disconnect lawn hoses to prevent the water pipes from freezing. You could be held responsible for any damages caused by frozen water lines.
**REMEMBER TO CHECK AND CHANGE YOUR FURNACE FILTERS MONTHLY TO GET KEEP YOUR FURNACE/AC WORKING EFFICIENTLY! ***********
Trash:
We have
received numerous phone calls about tenants leaving trash in the
breezeways. There are dumpsters provided for your trash needs. You are
not to leave trash in the breezeways under any circumstance this causes
odor and attraction of animals. If you are caught putting trash out
side your door a $25.00 fine will be assessed. Cigarette Butts: It has also come to our attention that tenants are throwing cigarette butts off their balconies & they are landing in the grass, bushes, & rock beds. Please help us keep our properties looking nice & clean by disposing of cigarettes properly.
Carports: We have carports available at PEBBLEBROOK, CAMBRIDGE SQUARE, & STONE POINTE. These are available to be rented for $25.00 with your lease agreement or on a month-to-month basis for $35.00 Please check with the office for availability near your building.
Maintenance: Please call the office with any maintenance needs. If your air conditioning or furnace is not working properly, please call the office before 3:30pm. Any calls received after 3:30 may not be addressed until the next business day. If you have a maintenance issue that can wait until the next business day, please call the office and leave it on our answering machine with your name, building and apartment number & a phone number where you can be reached. If it is an after hours emergency, please call your after hours property manager. You received his/ her phone number in you welcome packet.
